Exclusively hosted by the Neustar Trust Lab, the goal of the ATIS Robocalling Testbed is to remove obstacles and accelerate the validation of caller authentication standards like STIR/SHAKEN in North America.
The testbed enables Communications Service Providers (CSPs), equipment manufacturers, and software suppliers to collaborate to remotely test solutions, validating the effectiveness of caller authentication standards developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and ATIS.
Neustar provides technical support for the relevant connectivity information, representative network configuration, its SHAKEN software functionality and supported test scenarios amongst participants.
Who Can Join?
Any service provider with an assigned Operating Company Number (OCN), as maintained by the National Exchange Carrier Association, Inc. (NECA), is eligible to participate.
Participation is free of charge. Other parties, testing in cooperation with an eligible service provider, may also participate if they have solutions relevant to the SHAKEN framework available to test. A list of participants can be found here.
The Testbed is also available for qualified Enterprises who have developed the capability to block unwanted robocalls and/or utilize the STIR/SHAKEN standards and wish to leverage our testing platform to validate their deployment plans.
