Mr. Gottdiener was appointed Neustar President & Chief Executive Officer of Neustar in July 2018 to drive the growth of the company's global leadership in Information Services.
Mr. Gottdiener has a 30-year track record of leading information services and technology companies, driving innovation in client solutions, increasing revenue and profitability and scaling operations.
Prior to joining Neustar, he was Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a Managing Director at Providence Equity Partners. As COO, Mr. Gottdiener led the firm's portfolio operations, business development, human resources and other administrative functions. He also served as an interim CEO or Board member of several Providence portfolio companies including Blackboard, SRA International, Altegrity, Survey Sampling, VRAD and Ascend Learning.
Previously he spent seven years at Dun & Bradstreet where he served in a number of strategy and operating leadership roles including as President of the global risk, analytics and internet solutions business. Prior to Dun & Bradstreet, Mr. Gottdiener held several leadership positions in consulting with Boston Consulting Group, CSC Index, Ernst & Young Consulting and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.
Mr. Gottdiener received a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts from Grinnell College. He is a trustee of Grinnell College.
Carolyn oversees Neustar's worldwide finance organization that includes treasury, accounting, financial planning and analysis and real estate management. She is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years of experience managing financial operations for information services and consumer packaged goods companies.
Carolyn joins Neustar from Strategic Insight, a New York based global asset management company. Prior to that, she was the global CFO of LexisNexis Group, a division of Reed Elsevier. Carolyn guided LexisNexis through its transformation from an offline provider of legal information to a global leader in full workflow solutions to the legal industry. Her impressive track record includes a role as CFO at Frito-Lay (a PepsiCo company) — one of the world’s most admired consumer goods companies.
Venkat Achanta is Executive Vice President, Chief Data and Technology Officer at Neustar, Inc. Venkat is responsible for expanding Neustar's authoritative identity and attribution platform to find innovative ways to create connected customer experiences across people, places and things. He also leads the Product Engineering and Technology Operations team, responsible for aligning Neustar solutions and infrastructure to customer and business needs.
Prior to Neustar, Venkat was Chief Data Officer and Head of the Data and Analytics group at Walmart, where he was responsible for all data and analytics delivery platforms across the company.
Venkat has more than 20 years of experience in data science, analytics and enterprise information management. While at Walmart, Venkat spearheaded the data fabric, advanced analytics platforms and decision services groups globally. Prior to Walmart, Venkat was Global Head of Analytics and Big Data at AIG. Venkat has held senior leadership positions with various companies that are noted in the industry for their data and analytics capabilities, including Capital One, where he was Vice President, Enterprise Data Services and Experian, where he was Vice President, Global Product Development and Delivery.
Venkat holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Andhra University in India and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from UCLA.
Edward M. Prince, Jr. is Neustar’s Executive Vice President and President Analytics Solutions. In this role, he oversees the development and management of complete, cloud-based workflow solutions to enable clients to more effectively market their brands. These services include Neustar’s Measurement and Attribution, Customer Intelligence, Activation and Compliance, Risk and Fraud. Mr. Prince also oversaw the Corporate Development Group that has driven eight acquisitions over the last five years transferring Neustar to an Information Services company. Prior to joining Neustar, Mr. Prince was the Chief Operating Officer, Global Media, at National Geographic, and President, National Geographic Ventures — the for-profit arm of National Geographic where he worked from 2003-2012. Mr. Prince also served as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development at AOL Broadband from 2002-2003, and Senior Vice President, Business Development for AOL from 1999-2002.
Mr. Prince has a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Arts (Resource Economics) from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University. He sits on the Board of Landon School and the Duke School of Environment.
Brian McCann joined Neustar in October 2019 as Executive Vice President and President of Security Solutions. He is responsible for the vision, strategy, operations and stakeholder satisfaction of the company's cloud-based and data-driven security solutions business including Neustar's industry leading application security, DNS, security intelligence and website performance management offerings.
Brian has more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in high-growth security and technology businesses. Prior to Neustar, he served as the President of the Security Solutions business unit at NETSCOUT Systems. Brian was also the CEO of ONPATH Technologies and sold the company to NETSCOUT in 2012. Prior to that, he was the Founding President of ADVA Optical Networking USA and earlier in his career he was in marketing and sales at 3M.
Brian received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Rutgers University.
Lee Kirschbaum serves as Senior Vice President of Communications Solutions and Corporate Business Development. As Senior Vice President of Communications Solutions, he is responsible for accelerating the growth and innovation within Neustar's Communications business. Leading Corporate Business Development, Lee will oversee the execution of Neustar's growth strategy through M&A and strategic partnerships.
With almost two decades of product, marketing and strategy leadership roles across a wide range of software, technology and information services businesses, Lee was most recently Senior Vice President of Product, Marketing and Alliances at Opus, a leading provider of risk and compliance Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions. Before joining Opus, he was President of Kroll Compliance, a division within Kroll focused on providing technology-enabled due diligence and compliance solutions. Previously, Lee served for eight years at Dun & Bradstreet in several senior leadership roles. Earlier in his career, he held strategy roles at Qwest Communications and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.
Lee received a Master of Business Administration from the Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Chicago.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Mr. Kober works closely with Neustar's business leaders to drive strategy development, resource allocation and strategy execution to maximize long-term growth. He brings to the role more than 30 years of experience formulating and executing growth strategies across a broad spectrum of technology-based industries.
Prior to Neustar, Mr. Kober was Chief Enterprise Transformation Officer for Komatsu America, leading the company's effort to unlock next-generation growth through digital transformation. During his career at Komatsu, he led corporate strategy, analytics and information technology. Previously, Mr. Kober spent ten years with Motorola in leadership roles in strategy and operations at both the corporate center and the personal communications sector. He also was a strategy consultant with The Boston Consulting Group and held various engineering, marketing and sales roles with Air Products & Chemicals.
Mr. Kober received a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from The University of Michigan.
Carey serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources (HR) Officer. In this capacity, she oversees all global HR strategies that focus on talent management and acquisition, organizational design and effectiveness, compensation and benefits, and change management.
Carey has more than 20 years of demonstrated expertise in leading high performance HR teams by advancing employee engagement, people development, retention strategies and recruitment programs designed to grow the business and enable it to deliver on its commitments. She has been with Neustar since 2012.
Prior to Neustar, she served in progressively responsible HR roles at Sallie Mae, a publicly traded financial services company.
Carey received a Master of Business Administration in HR Management and a Bachelor of Science from Strayer University.
Dorean is the Executive Vice President of Sales. In this role, he oversees global field sales, account management, sales engineering, lead generation and sales operations with a focus on helping clients succeed by solving their most critical challenges.
Dorean has a proven track record in information services, having spent the past 12 years at Neustar leading sales across a variety of business units including marketing analytics, risk, and security. Prior to Neustar, he spent six years in the technology consulting and software space.
Dorean received an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Economics from Stanford University.
Kevin is Neustar’s principal legal officer and is responsible for the company’s legal function. Kevin provides strategic advice to the management team, focusing on key legal issues and business strategies and initiatives. He also serves as the Neustar’s corporate secretary supporting the company’s board of directors.
Kevin joined Neustar in December 2013 as a Senior Counsel and was subsequently promoted to Deputy General Counsel in 2015. Prior to joining Neustar, Kevin was in private practice where he regularly counseled clients regarding mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, corporate governance, public company reporting, regulatory compliance, executive compensation, employment law and dispute resolution and litigation.
