A Technical Guide for CSPs and Enterprises

The “attestation gap” happens when legitimate service providers and enterprises don’t meet the criteria specified by the Governance Authority (GA), so they can’t sign their own calls. As a result, critical calls made by enterprises may receive a “B” attestation and/or be labeled as spam and blocked.

Until solutions that resolve the attestation gap are adopted as standards, the industry must introduce measures to bridge the gap to enable carriers and enterprises to fully embrace STIR/SHAKEN.
