In 2021, there were approximately 51 billion robocalls in the US, equating to close to one-third of the total calls consumers received. Recognizing this growing issue, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) had already required all Communications Service Providers (CSPs) to implement robocall mitigation through implementation STIR/SHAKEN call authentication.
