Discrimination and Harassment

It is the policy of Neustar to maintain a professional business environment and a workplace that is free from harassment and intimidation of any kind. Harassment consists of unwelcome conduct, whether verbal, non-verbal or physical, that threatens, intimidates or coerces often where the conduct is based on gender, race, color, citizenship status, national origin, ancestry, age, disability or perceived disability, sexual orientation, marital status, family care leave status, veteran status, religion, or any other characteristic protected by law. It is against the Neustar policy for any employee to harass another employee by making or subjecting any person to unwelcome sexual advances or to engage in any unwelcome or other verbal, non-verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature that is persistent and offensive.

Any person who feels he or she is being subjected to harassment/sexual harassment is encouraged to report the harassment/sexual harassment promptly, regardless of whether the harassment/sexual harassment is by a fellow employee, or one of Neustar’s outside vendors, consultants, customers or clients. Further, anyone who believes that an employee is harassing/sexually harassing a fellow employee or one of Neustar’s outside vendors, consultants, customers or clients is also encouraged to report this immediately to Human Resources, the employee’s supervisor or any member of Neustar management. All employee complaints will be promptly and thoroughly investigated.
