Americans with Disabilities (ADA) and the ADA Amendments Act (ADAAA)

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act, known as the ADAAA, are federal laws that prohibit employers with 15 or more employees from discriminating against applicants and individuals with disabilities and that when needed provide reasonable accommodations to applicants and employees who are qualified for a job, with or without reasonable accommodations, so that they may perform the essential job duties of the position.

Any person who feels he or she is being subjected to harassment/sexual harassment is encouraged to report the harassment/sexual harassment promptly, regardless of whether the harassment/sexual harassment is by a fellow employee, or one of Neustar’s outside vendors, consultants, customers or clients. Further, anyone who believes that an employee is harassing/sexually harassing a fellow employee or one of Neustar’s outside vendors, consultants, customers or clients is also encouraged to report this immediately to Human Resources, the employee’s supervisor or any member of Neustar management. All employee complaints will be promptly and thoroughly investigated.

The Neustar Center for Learning & Development is the hub of the company’s learning culture and strives to continuously drive growth and innovation by: (a) providing formal learning opportunities so that Neustar employees are equipped to perform their jobs at the highest level of competency and grow their careers with Neustar; (b) providing informal learning opportunities through intellectual exchanges, lectures, and newsletters (c) managing and measuring the learning and growth of all employees; (d) company-wide training for compliance, HR, and other matters; (e) training for departments and functional organizations within the company; (f) on-boarding and on-going training; (g) management training - modular training program for Neustar managers and professionals with managerial aspirations; (h) systems and tools training - eLearning and recorded WebEx sessions to assist employees to navigate through various systems and tools used in the day to day performance of one’s job; (i) Lunch-n-Learn, lecture series, newsletters, and blogs to share innovation in technology and processes throughout the company; (j) eLearning - SkillSoft library with over 300 courses that cover Business, IT, Desktop End User, and HR/Compliance functions.
